 Here's Erington's interview in full

Erington, welcome to Stunning Men and a big thank you for taking the time to do the interview.

Thank You for taking the time out to interview me.

Could we start off with talking a little about yourself and your background? You are from Malibu I believe ...
That’s correct. I am originally from Los Angeles California and lived between Malibu & Downtown LA

You are first and foremost a dancer; could you tell us a little about this passion of yours?
Yes, I moved from California to Philadelphia, Pa to attend the University of The Arts where I received my BFA majoring in Ballet Performance.

How did you get to modelling?
I originally got into modelling by doing artistic nudes while I was dancing. It wasn’t until recently I’ve been getting noticed more for physique/fitness.

What do you enjoy the most about it?
What I enjoy most about modelling is turning out good images and being able to see the way that different photographers are able to capture me in different ways that I didn’t think was possible. I’m always kind of in shock after seeing some images of myself.

How do you prepare before a photoshoot?
I usually try to set up a date ahead of time with a photographer so that way I can prepare myself with the proper diet and exercise.

You have a stunning physique. How do you keep in shape and healthy? Do you do any sport?

Thank You!  I’ve been doing bodybuilding for 2 years now so that’s how I’ve been able to stay in shape & improve on my physique over the past few years.

What are your top three favourite gym exercises and why?
I don’t have any specific favourite exercise because I’m usually always trying to switch things up. But, I do enjoy working out my back, chest and legs.

What’s the best form of cardio for you?

I honestly hate to do cardio but when I do do cardio, I usually do interval training on the elliptical.

How do you keep motivated?
What keeps me motivated is seeing my body continue to transform. Also, getting positive feedback for my body & knowing I’ve motivated or inspired others keeps me going too.

How do you fit training and fitness into your life? Is it a difficult thing to achieve?
I make fitness and training fit into my life. While most guys are out during happy hour or out all night at clubs. I’m usually in the gym.

You are a very good looking guy – what do you think is your best asset?
Aww...  thank you. (Erington laughs) You’re too kind. Ummm, I don’t have any particular thing that I think is my best asset but I do get compliments on my smile when I do smile.

And if you could change one thing about your body, what would that be?

If I could change one thing I think it would be my stomach area. I’m really insecure about my stomach.

How do you approach a challenge?
I usually approach a challenge head on.

What do you do in your down time?
Usually on my down time I like to stay in bed, watch on demand movies and eat ice cream.

Do you have any role models? People who inspire you?
I don’t have anyone in particular who inspires me to be honest. I get inspiration from everywhere.

Now a few quick fun questions if we may? Do you think you are a good date?
Ha I don’t know if I’m a good date. It’s been a while since I’ve actually been on a date.

What do you think is the secret to a good relationship?

If I had the answer to that question I’d be in a relationship. But, ideally I’m thinking being open and honest with the person you’re with. Also, having your own life space & friends is a good thing too.  I’ve noticed a lot of friends who are in relationships end up suffocating each other because they are together all the time with new boyfriend & start to cut off friends.

Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?

I’m a brief guy.

What do you listen to on your iPod?
I have a good mix of everything on my iPod. I listen to how I’m feeling. From country, Christian, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Classical music.

Your favourite song/piece of music to play while training/running?
It really depends on my mood

What kind of movies do you like?

I LOVE Horror and Suspense Thriller movies.

What can’t you live without?
I don’t think I could live without my cell phone.

You wouldn’t know, but I’m very good at ...
Track and Field as well as cooking and entertaining.

I’m just not very good at ...
Being around stupid people. I kind of have very little patience/tolerance for stupid people.

What’s the best thing ever invented?
Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream

What three words describe you best?
Upfront, Carefree, and Honest.

One last question Erington, where do you see yourself and what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?
In 10 years hopefully established as a fitness model, settled down with a life partner and possibly kids, and running my own business.

Erington, it has been a real pleasure to interview you! Thank you for your time and for being a good sport. All the best for the future!
Thanks again (smile)
