Here is Dan's interview in full

Dan, a warm welcome to Stunning Men and many thanks for taking the time to do the interview.
Thank you, it is my pleasure.

Could we start off with talking a little about yourself and your background? You come from Leicestershire, England, right?
I’m 16! I have grown up in a small village in the middle of Leicestershire. I have always been extremely active and generally led a healthy lifestyle.

You must get this all the time and we don’t want to keep referring to this ... so let’s get it out of the way ... you have an incredible physique for a 16 year old guy! How do you do it and how did it all start?
Thank you very much, as I said above I have always been very active and have always done a wide range of sports. I was introduced to Martial Arts at the age of 6 and I found my first passion. In Martial Arts you have to have determination, will power and must persevere. I believe that these qualities have helped me with my gym training, throughout the hardest sessions and when dieting down really gets mentally tough.

How do you stay healthy?
I am a firm believer that you are what you eat. If you eat like crap you’ll get crap results! If you eat well you will get good results. In my opinion nutrition is the key factor to getting that body you want. I stick to a well balanced diet, which includes such things as, lean proteins (chicken, turkey, fish), both HIGH GI and LOW GI carbohydrates (oats, brown rice, banana, apples and good healthy fats like peanut butter, omega 3 oils and almonds).

Do you do any sport?
I have always trained in Martial Arts, Taekwondo and kickboxing mainly. I thoroughly dedicated my life pretty much to training from the age of 6 to 14. I gained my black belt by the time I was 9 years old and second degree by 11. I have won many regional and national medals. I was the youngest ever athlete to represent England at the world championships where I gained a silver medal in the under 18 category.

That’s impressive Dan! What is your best lift at the gym?
My legs have always been my strong part; my Martial Art training has helped with this. For leg training you need powerful explosive legs. My best lift is 150kg squat for 3 reps; at 16 nearly a record!

What are your top three favourite exercises and why?
The Big 3: Squatting, dead lifting and bench pressing.
These movements are essential in my training routine, they are compound movements meaning more than one muscle/joint is working at the same time. They help with all over body strength and are a brilliant mass builder.

What’s the best form of cardio for you?
I love doing slow steady paced cardio on an empty stomach as soon as I get up. I walk up and down the stairs for 40 minutes. This is brilliant for those of you who live alone but my family hate me waking them up at the crack of dawn every day!

What’s your gym/training routine like?
I stick to a 5 day training routine and with two days rest. I feel getting enough rest is imperative to making gains and keeping growth at the optimal level. My routine is chest, back, shoulders, legs, arms.

How do you keep motivated?
I always look up to people in the industry such as, Greg Plitt and Rob Riches. These are great inspirations to me and I had the pleasure of meeting Rob at this year’s Bodypower. He gave me some great tips to enhance my training and I was very grateful.

How do you fit bodybuilding and fitness into your life? Is it a difficult thing to achieve?
I found it difficult when I was studying at school, fitting in meals and preparation of them was the hardest part along with actually being able to afford all the food that I consume on a daily basis. But I knew what I wanted and I just managed to fit it in! If you want something bad enough you will find a way of doing it.

What do you eat in a normal day?
I am keeping to a strict KETO diet at the moment to try and loose the last bit of body fat. This consists of high protein, medium fat no carb diet. Very gruelling for the first week or so but I’ve got used to it! I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER!

Do you allow yourself a cheat day? If so, what is your guilty pleasure?
I feel it’s very important to have a cheat day especially being at a young age. I love to socialise with my friends and get away from all the dieting and training and have whatever I want. My guilty pleasure is part of my diet so pretty good! It’s peanut butter! Love the stuff!

What do you find the most challenging being a young fitness athlete?
People often disregarding me due to my age, people saying I am not ready. I know a lot of people are warning me of the possible dangers. But I’m trying to find a photographer who will shoot me!

What about fitness and bodybuilding competitions?
I am very interested in competing next year; I am trying to pack on a bit more size after July for around 6 months to increase thickness so I will be ready for a teen category next year.

You have just done your first professional work with Justin Tayler. How was that?
It was a truly amazing experience. I was really grateful to Justin who gave me the opportunity to shoot with him for the NEW FACES COMPETITION. I am trying to get my name known around and about and this was the perfect opportunity for me to do this.

Good luck with the competition Dan! Would you consider a career in modelling?
I definitely would consider modelling yes. I do realise that there isn’t much money in the industry. But I hope one day to be a sponsored athlete and share my experiences with other people who love fitness!

What’s the best advice you have been given about modelling?
To try and get as many photoshoots as possible to build a portfolio but also to be careful of the dangers that arise in this industry.

What do you do in your down time?
I don't have much free time with the training and all that but when I do I like spending time with my mates and my family, go on walks and hikes ...

Now a few quick fun questions if you are game? Do you think you are a good date?
I’m a single man! Always been a single man! Not up for anything serious yet! But love a bit of fun!

Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?
Definitely boxers! Tight.

What do you listen to on your iPod?
Anything in the charts really I'm not to fussed.

Your favourite song/piece of music to play while running?
A bodybuilding motivational video soundtrack! Gets me pumped!

One last question Dan, where do you see yourself and what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?
I would love to be a sponsored athlete and share the experiences I’ve learnt over the years and my thoughts with people. I would love to be a fully recognised fitness model and maybe one day be on a front cover!

We believe at Stunning Men that one day we will see you gracing the cover of health and fitness mags! Dan, it was really great and fun to do this interview with you! Thank you for your time and for being such good sport. All the best for the future!

Myles' interview in full

Myles, a warm welcome to Stunning Men and many thanks for taking the time to do the interview. Could we start off with talking a little about yourself and your background? You currently live in Wales but are from Worcester, England, right?
Yes, I am originally from Worcester where I attended a private school with a heavy focus on sports and athletics, which I like not only for the physical benefits but also the lessons and mannerisms it teaches you both on and off the pitch. After school I completed my level 3 personal training qualification so as to learn how to not only better my own training but also that of those around me. I now work in recruitment but I am currently relocating to London to pursue a fulltime career in fitness modelling.

You have a stunning physique. How do you maintain it and keep healthy? Do you do any sport?
I train on average around 12 hours a week this consists of 6 gyms sessions and an MMA training session as I find this is the best way to stay fit without the tediousness of standard cardio. I also do 100 sit ups and 100 press ups every morning when I get up and every evening before bed.

What is your best lift at the gym?
My best lift in the gym would be 195kg on decline bench.

What’s your gym/training routine like?
I always warm up with 10 minutes of cardio and then progress into my workout typically I do 5 sets of any given exercise increasing the weight and dropping the reps as I go typically the reps go 12,10,8,6,4. I train the primary and secondary muscles involved in each exercise together such as back and bis and chest and tris. I train my core at the end of every session and cool down with 10 minutes of cardio.

How do you keep motivated?
I am a very goal orientated person so once I set my mind to something I won’t stop until it is done so for me motivation is never a problem. I genuinely enjoy training and have been told by many people when I couldn’t train due to injury that I am miserable without it!

How do you fit bodybuilding and fitness into your life? Is it a difficult thing to achieve?
To be honest bodybuilding and fitness isn’t something that you can just fit into your life; it is something that you must fit your life around. As whatever you’re doing you always have to be thinking how this will affect my training/condition and it must always take priority or you will never get anywhere.

How do you approach a challenge?
I always approach a challenge head on as if you spend too much time worrying about something then it will never actually get done and the worst you can do is fail, in which case you simply try again!

What do you eat in a typical day?
Breakfast:
Protein shake with oats and a shot of olive oil to give your energy levels an extra boost in the morning
11am:
A chicken breast with cheese and a banana
Lunch:
Lean meat (chicken/turkey/steak/venison) with chopped tomatoes and peppers
4pm:
Protein shake
Post training:
500g’s Steak
Before Bed:
Protein shake with casein

Do you allow yourself a cheat day? If so, what is your guilty pleasure?
I tend to have a cheat day usually straight after a shoot as I tend to be exhausted and need some quick energy and use it as a little pat on the back to myself, if I had a guilty pleasure I would have to say it’s KFC because I can just lie to myself and say it’s “just chicken”.

How did you get into modelling? Is it something you always wanted to do?
I got into modelling because a number of my friends did it when I was growing up so I did a small amount of fashion modelling when I was 18 and then when I started to get a bit too big for “slim fitting blazers” I decided to take a break and develop my physique and now here I am ready to take the world of fitness!!!

What do you enjoy the most about modelling?
I enjoy the variety of people that you meet and the element of creativity and versatility that is involved. It also serves as a great critiquing tool as you can learn just as much from a bad photo as you can a good one.

What advice would you give a new model?
Train hard, never lose sight of your dreams and always be humble and realize that there is always someone better and most of all it is all about building strong relationships within the industry as this can really make or break a young model’s future. Finally “Rome wasn’t built in a day” it will come, just keep giving it 110% and in time you will get there.

What do you do in your down time?
In my down time (the little I get) I like to relax with friends and when possible go on a crazy adventure I’d tell you more but I’d probably get in trouble! (laugh)

Wouldn’t we like to know! Do you have any role models? People who inspire you?
Two words “Arnold Schwarzenegger”! The man is an idol to me and should be to everyone. He never let anything get in his way; he achieved every goal he ever set and in my eyes is and always will be the greatest bodybuilder! He comes from the golden age of bodybuilding when they looked like super athletes and that is something to be appreciated.

Now a few quick fun questions if you are game? Do you think you are a good date?
I’d say I am certainly an interesting date. Let’s put it this way a girl once told me she was adventurous and out going so for a first date instead of the usual dinner and drinks combination I took her rock climbing outdoors up the side of a cliff.

A sporty first date! Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?
I have a slight obsession with Diesel and Armani boxers and will never be caught in anything else.

What do you listen to on your iPod?
I am a strictly classic rock type of guy AC/DC, Metallica, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult etc. but I’d be lying if I said One Direction didn’t sneak onto my ipod once!

What kind of movies do you like?
I love a range of movies to be honest. I am fascinated by the ancient worlds of Greece and Rome etc so films like Troy will always be in the top. But I also love a good comedy and let’s not forget Predator, possibly one of the greatest films ever made.

One last question Myles, where do you see yourself and what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?
I would love to be still modelling as I intend to push my career as far as possible. But whatever I am doing and wherever I am, as long as myself and those around me are happy I’m sure I will be just fine.

Myles, it was great to do this interview with you! Thank you for your time and for being a good sport. All the best for the future!

Here is his full interview

Welcome to Stunning Men Joe and thank you for taking the time to do the interview. Could we start off with talking a little about yourself and your background?
I started off playing football from a very young age and was very good at it. I got scouted for various professional clubs: Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Chesterfield, Nott’s County. However, after decisions made as a family I stayed in school and concentrated on my education gaining A-levels in Business and PE. I started gym at 16 just looking to get bigger as I was a very skinny child. I carried on playing part time semi-professional football but just gave it up this year to fully concentrate on the gym.

How did you get into modelling?
After setting up my business as a personal trainer one of my USPs was I was in great shape and I firmly believe as a personal trainer you should lead the way for clients and be an inspiration, so I did a few shots with Rachael Jones, a work colleague from my old job, these pictures got seen by a guy called Jeff who shoots videos for fitness models. He added me on Facebook and gave me some compliments on my physique and I just took it from there. That gave me the confidence to approach photographers and do more shoots at the gym I work at.

Is it something you always wanted to do?
I’ve always wanted to do it growing up; I had a set vision of doing exactly what I’m doing now! Personal training and modelling.

What do you enjoy the most about it?
The fact that all the hard work I put in at the gym and on my nutrition, the strict lifestyle I lead, the things I sacrifice all get captured in a few photos which are seen and admired by hundreds/thousands of people. That’s something that I feel very lucky and privileged to be able to do.

You seem to have lots of ambition; you are only 18 and you are a personal trainer. Do you want to tell us a bit about Diamond Fitness Elite?
If there was one word to describe me you’ve hit the nail on the head ‘ambitious’. Diamond Fitness Elite is a brand I’m building with the core values of providing absolute premium quality within the fitness industry. I’m looking to release a wide range of products from shakers to hand wraps etc and I’m currently looking to start my own clothing line through the brand with some very unique ideas on where to take the fitness apparel market. Also, football academies to help potential players get professional contracts are on the cards for late this year, a venture I may be going into with a partner.

Wow! It is amazing to see how focussed you are so young. How do you approach a challenge?
With one mind set of ‘I will overcome this’. I see the gym as a challenge every day, I keep a log of all the weights I use and for how many reps. I then get into the mind set of ‘I will beat that last set by 2 reps’ or I’m going to increase the weight and aim to do just as many reps as I did on the lighter weight. I take that attitude into life! I look at where I am today and think what I am going to do tomorrow to make myself and my career better.

I don’t want to make a big thing about your young age, sorry, but you already have a stunning physique. What kind of exercises do you do to keep in top shape? Do you do any sport?
I wouldn’t say any particular exercises keep me in top shape. I believe hugely in variety of exercises ranging from small isolation exercises to compound exercises to power exercises. They all have good benefits and together they build a winning physique. For my cardio side of things I’m a spinning instructor so that keeps my metabolism high and body fat down which is also essential for a good physique. I don’t play any sports as such at the minute however; I do try to get to martial arts classes at another centre I teach at as much as I can.

Could you talk us through your gym/training routine?
This depends massively on the time of year and what I’m leading up to. I’ll run you through what I’m doing at the minute to build up for my competition in European Miami pro fitness model competition in June. It’s an extreme 6 week mass building programme aimed to put on as much lean muscle mass as possible:

Monday: I’d do two strength sessions throughout the day and 1 spin class at night
Am: Chest and abs (I do abs in-between each chest exercise)
Chest: 37.5kg dumbbell press x 12 reps supersetted with decline push ups x 20
40kg dumbbell press x 6 reps x 2 sets reps supersetted with decline push ups x 20
22.5kg decline dumbbell press x 12 reps supersetted with 10kg decline dumbbell flies x 12 reps
Abs:    circuit involving Swiss ball crunches, side plank on the ball, swap sides, full plank on the ball all until failure.

What do you eat in a normal day?
Breakfast: Porridge oats
1-2 hours later: toast + pre workout shake
Post workout: weight gainer shake + grilled bacon sandwich
Dinner: Jacket potato with chicken and veg
1-2 hours later: weight gainer shake
Pre workout afternoon: Toast
Post workout: amino acids + cereal
Tea: typical cooked meal e.g. spaghetti bolognaise
Before bed: either another shake or toast

Do you allow yourself a cheat day?
Not usually. It depends how hard I’ve been dieting for a shoot etc as my body fat gets ridiculously low your body does need to get fat back into it to just get back into a healthy state for hormone production, cellular activity etc. Some people don’t realise when you diet down for a competition or shoot with low body fat levels you actually put yourself in similar health risks as an anorexics even though we have good amounts of muscle mass. But if I’m preparing for a comp or shoot I wouldn’t have a cheat day at all I’m too focussed on what’s coming up.

What do you do in your down time?
Chill out to music or hit the cinema. I love going and chilling in the cinema and watching a really good film that’s going to take my mind off all the pressures I have going off.

Do you have any role models? People who inspire you?
Ryan Terry first and foremost, he’s from my town and won mister international 2010 and inspired me to follow in his footsteps. Even after all his success and busy lifestyle he still found time to talk to me which really made me respect him as a person not just a model.

Now a few quick fun questions if we may? Do you think you are a good date?
Yeah definitely, there’s not been many girls I’ve dated who haven’t wanted a 2ndand 3rd date so I must be doing something right.

Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?
Boxer sort of guy to be honest

What do you listen to on your iPod?
I use my phone but I love a bit of drake to chill me out and as well a new artist called the weeknd (spelt wrong on purpose) he’s really good.

What kind of movies do you like?
Anything deep that inspires me or gives me a new outlook on life, they’re the films I enjoy the most.

One last question Joe, where do you see yourself and what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?
In 10 years time my personal training will be taking a back seat as I’ll be managing the multi million pound Diamond Fitness Elite Corporation, probably building my own team of fitness models and personal trainers to help promote the brand.

It was great to do this interview with you Joe! Thank you for your time and for being a good sport. All the best for the future!
